WHO, ME?

I'm Matt Jolly, a sports and fitness coach.

I have always been a runner. At primary school my teachers used to set me off last to do “Cross Country” laps of the school field and I would routinely pick off my class-mates and complete the most laps. I represented my school every year in races both on and off the track, winning a few medals along the way.
Fast forward 30 odd years and I still enjoy running of all types - laps of a track, off road trails, on the road - they all have their unique challenges and characteristics but it all comes back to the simplicity of me putting one foot in front of the other.

Running is one of the most natural forms of movement for the human body, you can purchase all sorts of bits and pieces to “aid” your running but there really is no equipment necessary.
It is important to me not only for my physical health but my mental health as well. Exercise is one of the most effective stress busters there is, I can zone out or really think through issues when I am running. Put music on and forget the world or focus on problems with my heartbeat in my ears, regardless I always come back in a better mood.

Thankfully my family embrace physical activity as well. My two children are both very active and my wife has to be to keep up with us all!
Whichever way you choose to train with Jollyfit, you will have the support and guidance to take your fitness to the next level. I encourage clients to ask me as many questions as they need to and will always offer encouragement and honest advice on all aspects of health, training, physical activity and nutrition.

SO, ASK AWAY!
